Cancellation and Refund Policy
Our terms and conditions are based on guiding industry standards and are designed to ensure fairness to North Sky guests and North Sky.
Keep in mind that the closer a cancellation occurs to the start date, the smaller the refund you will receive. Our tour capacity is very limited, so every available space is crucial. The closer to the start date that a guest cancels, the more difficult it is to replace that spot. No refund or trip credit will be offered less than 10 days away from the trip departure because it is unlikely the reservation can be replaced.
Please Note: We highly recommend all participants read and understand the terms below. We don't deviate from these policies and agreements, so please consider buying trip insurance to cover your tour.
Reserve Your Spot
To reserve your spot, a $250 per person deposit is required. Your deposit can be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay or Google Pay. All payments are in U.S. Dollars.
The full balance is due 60 days prior to the start of your trip. For all day tours and multi-day tours less than 60 days out, full payment is due at the time of booking.
Custom tours require a 25% nonrefundable deposit. Standard cancellation and trip change policies apply, unless otherwise stated.
Final acceptance of any participant is contingent upon receipt and review of all required documents, forms, and payments.

If North Sky Cancels A Tour
North Sky Adventures reserves the right to cancel any trip at our discretion to ensure the safety, comfort, and overall experience of our guests. While cancellations are rare, we may find it necessary to do so if conditions make it unsafe or impractical to proceed. Reasons for cancellation may include—but are not limited to—extreme or hazardous weather, natural disasters, wildfires or smoke impacts, road or trail closures, insufficient guest enrollment, guide injury or illness, mechanical issues with vehicles, or any other circumstances beyond our control that could compromise the safety or quality of the tour.
North Sky Adventures shall not be liable for any failure to perform, or for any delay in performance of, its obligations—including the operation of a scheduled trip—when such failure or delay is caused by events beyond its reasonable control. These “force majeure” events include, but are not limited to, natural disasters; severe or abnormal weather; public land closures; acts of God; civil unrest or security threats; epidemics or public health emergencies; supply chain disruptions; or any other extraordinary circumstances that render trip operations unsafe, illegal, or impossible. In the event that a trip is cancelled due to a force majeure event and no reasonable alternate itinerary can be provided, North Sky Adventures will issue a trip credit equal to the amount paid, minus any nonrefundable, prepaid expenses incurred on the guest’s behalf. Refunds are not available in these situations.
Force Majeure
Itinerary Changes and Alternate Trips
North Sky Adventures reserves the right to modify, adjust, or alter any itinerary as deemed necessary to protect the safety, health, and overall welfare of guests and staff, or to preserve the integrity of the experience. Such modifications may be made at any time, with or without prior notice, and may include changes to routes, activities, accommodations, transportation, scheduling, or trip sequence. A guest’s total trip cost will never increase due to itinerary changes, even when substitutions or alternate routes are required. Payments previously made to North Sky Adventures are not refundable in the event of itinerary changes, land closures, or activity substitutions, except where a full trip cancellation occurs under the company’s cancellation or force majeure policies.
Itinerary changes may be implemented for reasons including, but not limited to: adverse or unsafe weather conditions; trail, road, or facility closures; wildlife activity; environmental hazards; transportation delays; mechanical issues; guide availability; or any other operational or logistical circumstances beyond the control of North Sky Adventures. In the event that a planned activity or destination becomes impracticable or inaccessible, North Sky Adventures may substitute an alternate activity or destination of comparable quality when reasonably possible.
